The ensemble Opus One, led by guitarist and conductor Xavier Alern, returns to the Palau to reinterpret two iconic works by Mike Oldfield: Ommadawn, on the fiftieth anniversary of its release, and Tubular Bells. Accompanied by the solo voice of Rosa Cedrón, the bagpipes of Bieito Romero, and the African percussion quartet Djilandiang, Opus One offers a vibrant and contemporary take on these classics.

The concert aims to recreate the original sound Oldfield envisioned for Ommadawn, just as Opus One previously did with Tubular Bells and Hergest Ridge at the Palau as part of the Palau Fronteres cycle.
