What happens when you combine the boundless imagination of Cuban pianist Omar Sosa, expressed through orchestral language, with a guru of the Spanish music scene, Sergi Vergés, creator and director of the powerful Liceu Big Band?

We're soon to find out! There was already a first encounter in the spring when Sosa took advantage of a few days in Barcelona to attend a rehearsal of the Conservatori Liceu Big Band, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. Hundreds of musicians, programs, scores and concerts have passed through the ensemble over the years, but collaborations of this kind have a special feel and energy.
