Oktoberfest Barcelona is a popular German festival, organized in the purest German style, which will take place in the Plaça de l'Univers of Fira Barcelona Montjuïc, next to Plaza España.

The opening ceremony will commence on Thursday, October 3, in the main tent, with the opening of the first barrel of beer. For three weeks, from Thursday to Sunday 12 days you can enjoy live polka bands, DJs, Bavarian beer, food and festivities. The main tent is large, but has limited capacity, so to guarantee your spot you should reserve in advance online.

There's even a Bavarian costume contest! Participants must attend Oktoberfest Barcelona on October 3rd dressed in their best "dirndl" or "lederhosen" and appear on the stage of the main tent from 19:00 to 20:00. Winners will receive a VIP table for Oktoberfest, with a tasting of Bavarian cuisine for eight people, including eight VIP Oktoberfest Barcelona menus: grilled sausages, one pretzel and a liter Paulaner Original beer mug.
