As part of the Arts D’estiu series, The Original Blues Brothers Band bring their soul, rhythm and blues music to the stage. Originally formed in 1976 by actors John Belushi and Dan Akroyd, after they met on the set of Saturday Night Live, the band gained prominence through the follow-up film, The Blues Brothers (1980). The band, now with just two of its original members, still manages to bring a sense of humour to their music, along with a backing of top-flight soul musicians.
