The New Year’s Concert at the Gran Teatre del Liceu brings together the exceptional voices of Saioa Hernández and Xabier Anduaga, under the direction of Riccardo Frizza, in a unique evening celebrating the passion for opera and vocal excellence.

“Music can name the unnamable and communicate the unknown,” wrote Leonard Bernstein, reminding us that sound art is perhaps the purest form of transcendence. With this spirit of communion and hope, the Gran Teatre del Liceu celebrates its New Year’s Concert, an event aiming to become a landmark in the musical calendar, where tradition, emotion and artistic excellence merge in a single gesture.

In this first edition, the event takes on a particularly symbolic dimension: for the first time, the Liceu Orchestra will share the stage with the Teatro La Fenice Orchestra from Venice, under the direction of the renowned Riccardo Frizza, establishing a sonic and emotional bridge between two historic institutions united by the same passion for opera and its universal language.
