Carlos Sarduy brings all the heat of the Caribbean and its Cuban rhythms in a special concert to end Sant Esteve (Dec 26th)! It's a show that brings together the best Latin jazz musicians, with Sarduy in charge of a group of 6 musicians, the Groove Messengers.

The renowned trumpeter and composer is a resident artist at Artte and this time he brings the native music and instrumentation of Cuba, with American jazz and funk. He has recorded more than 50 albums and collaborated with great artists such as Chucho Valdés, Bebo Valdés, Steve Coleman, David Murray, Esperanza Spalding, Buika, Ainhoa Arteta, Mariza, Ojos de Brujo among many others.

In his concerts he offers a magical and vibrant musical journey through a melodic, sensitive discourse, characteristic of a personal language where his great knowledge about Afro-Cuban music is reflected and his mastery in jazz is developed in an innovative way.
