Award-winning journalist and author Nathan Thrall, recipient of the 2024 Pulitzer Prize, delves into the decades-long occupation of Palestine and its profound impact on the lives of its inhabitants in his latest work, A Day in the Life of Abed Salama. This critically acclaimed book, published in Spanish by Anagrama and in Catalan by Periscopi, scrutinizes the aftermath of a tragic school bus accident near Jerusalem on February 16, 2012. Through meticulous analysis, Thrall sheds light on the daily struggles faced by Palestinians living under occupation, offering poignant insights into the human dimension of this enduring conflict.
