Dubbed by Dazed and Confused magazine as “hip hop’s heaviest brass section”, this American formation has been tearing apart musical conventions since 1997 with their radically unique sound— a compelling mixture of jazz, punk-inspired individualism and hip hop. Formed by students at Oregon High School, the band have been smashing the boundaries of brass band music for 20 years. This autumn, they embark on an extensive tour in which they will present their latest album 20 Years Young (2017) to European audiences.
