This week, Sidecar welcomes one of the most outrageous Spanish rock bands of the moment, Sexy Zebras. Back in 2015, with the release of their album Hola, somos los putos Sexy Zebras, the band stormed their way into the Spanish rock scene, presenting an explosive sound and unapologetic attitude never before seen in Spain. The band soon gained popularity for their brash expression of the frustrations facing contemporary society. They were nominated for Best Spanish Artist at MTV’s EMAs and won the title of Best Spanish Artist in Mexico at the Independent Music Awards in 2016. The band now embark on a European tour to present their latest album, La Polla (2017).
