With more than 40 albums under his belt, King Creosote is a folk-rock legend. The Scottish singer-songwriter’s career has spanned more than 20 years, and has featured notable achievements such as the establishment of his own record label, Fence Collective, and the nomination of his collaborative album with Jon Hopkins Diamond Mine for the Mercury Prize and Scottish Album of the Year Award in 2011. In more recent years, his music has moved beyond the confines of its narrower cult following to gain wider popularity. King Creosote will perform his latest album Astronaut Meets Appleman this Thursday at Sidecar.
