Kenny Washington has been dubbed one of the greats in the contemporary jazz scene. Singing with soulful interpretations, seemingly limitless range and rapid-fire scatting, his talent was immediately noted by pianist Ignasi Terraza in New York three years ago. Since then, the artists have been collaborating together in a trio with bassist Martin Zenker to produce a fierce alliance. The trio recently performed at the commemoration of the centenary of Ella Fitzgerald along with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Centre Orchestra. Tickets from €25.
