Go to MACBA and navigate yourself around the fridge-like interior of Richard Meier's enormous edifice to see the ‘Modern i present Canvi de segle a la Col.lecció’.
The exhibition includes works by Thomas Bayrle, Bestué-Vives, Richard Hamilton, Marcel Broodthaers, Nigel Henderson, Eduardo Paolozzi, Antoni Cumella and an important collection of works on paper by Friedrich Kiesler and Fahlström Öyvind.
It looks at the modern art explosion from the 1950s and the way different creative fields, including photography, architecture and design, came together to create a new aesthetic.
