Model: Barcelona Architectures Festival is a space for reflection and celebration that shines a light on experimental architecture and asks us to rethink how we wish to live together moving forward, thanks to experimental new city models and visionary ideas about the future of urban life.

Launched by the Barcelona City Council and the Catalan Architects’ Association (COAC), the yearly festival aims to transform the urban space into a platform for architectural talent and up-and-coming designers. It wants to turn the city into a meeting point for leading thinkers from around the world and, more significantly, architecture into a forum for exploration and inspiration for all its citizens.
