Melissa Aldana first made waves in 2013 when she became the first female non-vocalist to win the prestigious Thelonious Monk Competition, also making her the first Latin American artist to receive the honor. Since then, she has performed at various festivals; now, she returns with a remarkable new album, Echoes of the Inner Prophet. This album showcases Aldana's growth both personally and musically, with clear influences from the legendary Wayne Shorter, whose style she emulates in her pursuit to capture timeless moments through music.

Aldana is joined by a powerhouse quartet, featuring Glenn Zaleski on piano, Pablo Menares on double bass, and Kush Abadey on drums, creating an ensemble that perfectly complements her artistic vision.
