The Marina Garrido Sextet presents a repertoire of original compositions and jazz standards arrangements, exploring the soundscapes of contemporary and avant-garde jazz. Rooted in tradition, the group delves into experimental and unconventional elements of modern jazz, using the voice not only as a storytelling medium but also as an instrument in itself, through improvisation and the interplay of sound textures.

Led by Marina Garrido on vocals, the sextet features Alba Ruiz on saxophone, Guillem Payaró on flute, Antoni Casellas on piano, Juan Pablo Egúsquiza on double bass and Pau Gurpegui on drums. Together, they offer a musical journey reflecting on the complexities of modern life, addressing contemporary issues such as isolation and lack of communication in a hyper-connected world.
