'Black Tide' shows 50 images taken mostly from air the Deepwater Horizon oil rig disaster, when it exploded into the Gulf of Mexico on April 20th, 2010. Killing 11 workers, injuring 17 others, the explosion and subsequent sinking of the rig caused an ecological disaster where for three months five million barrels of oil were spilled into the sea causing irreparable damage to flora and fauna.
Working on behalf of Greenpeace, Daniel Beltrá uses aerial viewpoints to achieve greater objectivity to capture the destruction caused by the accident.
