Mammal Hands is a trio from Norwich, UK, made up of Jordan Smart on saxophone, Nick Smart on piano, and Jesse Barrett on percussion. They have been positioning themselves for a decade as the vanguard of the British jazz renewal — the same one that other peers of their generation are also representing on stages around the world.

Their influences range from ambient and electronica to psychedelia, progressive and world music; they declare themselves followers of Pharoah Sanders, Gétachèw Mekurya, Steve Reich, and Terry Riley.  Now, they continue to tour in promotion of Gift From The Trees (2023), their fifth album, an unbeatable calling card.
