Winner of the 2025 AMJM Young Talent Award, saxophonist and composer Lucas Martínez presents Traces of Memory. This project is a catalog of melodies that evoke the feelings and experiences behind their creation—an emotional sound album. Lucas Martínez is one of the most sought-after jazz musicians in Spain and the Netherlands. Despite his youth, he has won several national and international awards, recorded over 50 albums, and performed at major festivals in 23 countries.

With a deep focus on artistic creation, Martínez' work seeks to build bridges between generations, cultures and ideologies through art, respect and learning. The band accompanying the saxophonist and composer features Roger Santacana on piano, Giuseppe Campisi on double bass and Lluís Naval on drums.
