The Mercat de Música Viva de Vic (MMVV) is a professional meeting point for the Catalan music sector, and features regional and national artists.
Since 1989, the MMVV has served as a showcase for new music projects. It encourages festivals to hire the showcase performers as well as the sharing of knowledge and experiences between professionals in the sector.
Many of the concerts and showcases can also be attended by the general public with purchase of a ticket to the individual show.
