Literary Tours through Orwell’s Barcelona
Orwell Day 2025
to
Drassanes Metro Station La Rambla, Barcelona

Few texts have the intensity of Orwell’s Homage to Catalonia, a work that has stood the test of time for generations as an exceptional account of the anarcho-syndicalist social revolution in Barcelona. The Dia Orwell collective offers guided tours of the key places that appear in Orwell’s chronicle, led by professionals from a variety of fields who share a passion for this historical period.
Tours last two hours and are free of charge, but places are limited so advance registration is required on the CCCB website. The starting point for the tours will be the Drassanes Metro Station, outside the La Rambla exit.
