The Mexican artist Lila Downs is performing her new album Al Chile at sala BARTS on June 26th and you won't want to miss it! With jazz, soul, cumbia, rap, bolero, there is no genre that can resist this total creator who, after 12 albums and more than 20 years of career, is an icon of Latin American music.
Originally from Oaxaca, Downs not only about sings love and heartbreak, but also social justice, her indigenous roots and the empowerment of women.
