Les chanson d'amour is a Parisian musical from Christophe Honoré, following a trio of young lovers whose lives are upended by sudden loss. Louis Garrel, Ludivine Sagnier and Clotilde Hesme play entangled partners navigating shifting relationships and grief.
Told through intimate, emotionally driven songs composed by Alex Beaupain, whose own personal story inspired the film, this story is gives viewers romantic comedy, tragedy, and internal reflection. The film captures the emotional feelings of love and absence in a drifting, poetic way.
The film will be screened in original version and subtitled in Catalan as part of the 2025 edition of Gandules Cinema in the Open Air.
