American duo Lany, comprised of Paul Klein and Jake Goss, returns to the stage with their Soft World Tour. Their new album, Soft, is a deeply personal and transformative project born from an accident that changed Klein’s life last summer. On his way home on his Vespa, the vocalist was hit by a car and woke up minutes later in an ambulance. “The first thought I had when I opened my eyes was that God loves me, that I’m still here for a reason,” he recalls.

That experience marked the beginning of a new creative phase. “I’m grateful to be alive, but also for having let some parts of myself die that day—the resentment, the harshness, the bitterness,” explains Klein. “The album is about that: fighting to stay soft on the inside while strengthening the outside to protect that very vulnerability.”

Recorded with producer Tommy King, Soft explores the constant duality between hardness and tenderness, both lyrically and sonically. The album blends dissonant guitars, intense synthesizers, and industrial rhythms with the emotional warmth and sensitivity that have always defined the duo.

The lead single, “Know You Naked,” is a love letter as honest as it is courageous, combining Klein’s delicate vocals with a bold and tension-filled production. Tracks like the title track, “Soft,” and the closing track, “Last Forever,” showcase a band that dares to experiment and demonstrate its evolution without losing its essence.

Despite the accident, Klein and Goss returned to the stage just two months later to complete their world tour, a beautiful blur, with over 80 concerts and 300,000 tickets sold, including a sold-out stadium show in Manila and two historic nights at The Forum in Los Angeles. Nominated for Best Pop Tour by Pollstar, Lany has proven that their connection with audiences is stronger than ever.
