The only thing better than a free concert is a free concert from an exciting, up-and-coming band. Sin Noticias de Alicia are part of such an opportunity at Lacontra Centre de Creació i Difusió d’Arts in Poble-sec. The band's sound is a mix between classic rock and Britpop. Their influences include Stereophonics and Feeder, and they draw inspiration for their lyrics from the films of Alfred Hitchcock. With songs sung in a mix of Spanish and English and lyrical content everyone can relate to—sex, love, mistakes—the high energy rockers are set to win over a new Barcelona fan base.
