Delio Valdez is a cumbia orchestra created in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since 2009 they have been developing their own artistic proposal, understanding cumbia as the common language that runs throughout Latin America in a musical key. With 15 members on stage, La Delio Valdez takes up the great orchestral tradition of the Latin American continent with special reference to the National Tango Orchestras of the '50s.

Their style and theatricality on stage allude to the great Caribbean Orchestras, where dance and a powerful and overwhelming sound stand out. Its cooperative and self-managed organization is a commitment to independent musical production and also a sign of the identity and commitment that all members have with various causes in the social and popular field. In its sounds, resources from the Andean tradition, salsa, rock, jazz and reggae are fused to give rise to a style that is both traditional and modern: an international and contemporary sound that reflects the mestizo identities of the region.
