1908. In a bourgeois household, Céleste, a young maid, is employed by the married couple Victoire and André Boisvaillant. Every night, André sneaks into Céleste's room, until the girl can no longer hide her bulging belly. When Victoire realizes what has happened, she decides to fake a pregnancy and keep Céleste's child. As the tension in the household increases, an unexpected bond is forged between these two women who have nothing in common. But this bond threatens the fragile order that André strives to maintain. La Condition is a film that explores with grace and sharpness female identity, class struggle and the weight of roles imposed by society.

Film will be screened in original version with subtitles in Spanish and Catalan.
