Kosmopolis is a literary festival that overflows formats and disciplines to turn the word into an engine of shared reflection, emotion and imagination. Since the beginning, the festival has brought together leading figures in literature, music, film, comics and journalism to think collectively about the issues that challenge us today.
Kosmopolis 25 celebrates the expressive force and innovative spirit of graphic storytelling with a special program dedicated to contemporary auteur comics. The festival also travels to South Korea to delve into the trends and voices that make up one of the most vibrant literary scenes of the moment. Closer to home, it opens a window on Galician literature to explore its vitality, uniqueness and connection with other imaginaries. The festival brings together some of the great literary voices of our times amid dialogues, talks, recitals, performances, installations and concerts. At Kosmopolis 25, genres intermingle, the canon is questioned and the word—spoken, written, drawn or staged—becomes a tool for collective transformation.
