KIW is a Catalan trio based between Boston and New York that redefines 21st century jazz with its organic fusion of jazz, funk, hip-hop and electronica. Formed in the Berklee and The New School environment, Pau, Artur and Ferran turn improvisation and technology into their own language, where the computer is the fourth member of the band and together they compose a sidereal journey through the space of groove.
After their debut It's Not About Me (2023) and the EP Cosmosis Vol. 1 (2024), in 2025 they released the second part of this conceptual work in LP format, with tracks such as "KOMUSŌ," where they explore complex metrics, glitch and enveloping melodies, always accompanied by a powerful visual universe.
