In Michał Ciechomsk's Kingdom, the apocalypse unfolds before our eyes as a country on the brink of war sees the rise of a paramilitary group recruiting men with dreams of power and eager to experience real violence in an unsettling and hyper-testosterone-fueled dystopia. 

In a world on the brink of collapse, two brothers choose different paths. Dawid loses his job without warning and prepares to flee with his family. But his younger brother becomes involved with the only organization willing to stand against the encroaching enemy. Led by a charismatic figure, Black Spider is an ambitious militia and the sole opposition to the imminent changes. An unfortunate accident results in the death of one of the brothers, and due to a shortage of men and the an-eye-for-an-eye rule, Dawid has to take his brother’s place in the militant organization.

Film will be screened in original version with Catalan, Spanish and English subtitles.
