Kiki Morente is a singer, guitarist and composer born in Granada, the son of the emblematic maestro Enrique Morente and the bailaora Aurora Carbonell. His career began at a young age, accompanying his father on the most prestigious stages, where he stood out for his stage maturity and his unusual wisdom for his age.
In 2012, he made his solo debut at the Suma Flamenca Festival in Madrid, a turning point that consolidated him as one of the most outstanding singers on the current flamenco scene. Since then, Kiki has been a constant presence at the best festivals, collaborating with great figures in guitar and dance, and attracting attention for his vocal power and an innate ability to update flamenco without losing its deepest roots.
With an extraordinary intuition for reinventing the genre, Kiki Morente brings his own personality to each performance, captivating the audience from the first moment with his confidence and charisma. In 2017, he released his first solo album, Albayzín, followed by El Cante in 2021, an album that was nominated for a Latin Grammy.
In 2024, he presented his third album, Azabache, an album that fuses the most innovative sounds with the purest flamenco, created together with his mother, Aurora Carbonell. This new work was presented exclusively at the Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada and the Albéniz Theater in Madrid, where he achieved resounding success, reaffirming himself as one of the most relevant voices in contemporary flamenco.
