Raised by two pastors, JXDN spent most of his childhood in Texas. Without much money or resources, he took refuge in music as an escape. After watching the documentary Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, he focused intensely on caring for and learning to use his voice. "Even though we were very poor and I wasn't allowed to go to concerts, I tried to manifest my future," he recalls. "I literally said, 'I'm going to do something big someday.'"
While a senior in high school, he snuck out to attend a Juice WRLD concert (his first). When the entire crowd of over 10,000 people chanted the lyrics "I'm empty, I feel damn empty," JXDN sealed his fate. "I felt like my ears and eyes had changed," he continues. "I thought, 'If Juice WRLD can do this for me, I have to try to do it for someone else.'"
He got the chance for it just a few years later, in 2020. He teamed up with iconic Blink-182 drummer and DTA Records founder Travis Barker, who signed him immediately. After this, he rode the rollercoaster of music and became "JXDN." Following the release of his first single "Comatose," he wrote the hit "Angels & Demons." The latter also paved the way for his 2021 debut album, Tell Me About Tomorrow, with standout songs like “So What!”, “Better Off Dead,” “Tonight” [(eaturing Iann Dior), and “Wanna Be” (with Machine Gun Kelly). Beyond television performances on Ellen and Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, his stunning performance of "Think About Me" on MTV Push earned him a nomination for "Best Performance of the Year" at the MTV VMAs. Meanwhile, he filled concert halls from coast to coast in the United States.
