Justin Kemp is looking forward to the birth of his first child. As his wife contends with a high-risk pregnancy, he is selected for jury duty. But at the first court session he is seized by a powerful moral dilemma that threatens to upturn his whole life. Film will be screened in English with Spanish subtitles.
The evening opens at 20:45 with live music from Meli Perea. Born in Bogotá, Perea blends powerful sounds from the Colombian capital with Caribbean flavors reflecting her roots on the banks of the Magdalena River. Fusing Afro-Colombian and Latin music with electronica, she creates a truly authentic, vibrant sound.
A film in the 2025 edition of Sala Montjuïc. Doors open at 20:15, music begins at 20:45 and screenings begin at 22:00.
