Museu d'Història de Barcelona Plaça del Rei, 08002 Barcelona
This exhibition covers the work of Josep Subirats during the Civil War and post-war periods. Subirats was initially a graphic designer creating Republican propaganda posters, but during the war began portraying victims of the Franco regime after he ended up in a French concentration camp.
Upon his return to Barcelona he continued to draw immigrants in the city suburbs, resulting in this collection that shows people who, in one way or another, were affected by the Franco regime.
