When José James is not composing his own original music, he makes covers of songs by artists who have influenced him during his career. He did this in 2015 with "Yesterday I Had the Blues", in which he sang some of the great songs made popular by Billie Holiday. Now, with "Lean on Me", the singer from Minneapolis will pay tribute to one of the artists that has influenced him most—Bill Withers. James will perform a selection of Bill Withers songs during Jazz l'Estartit Festival.
