Since his 2013 debut, fresh out of his teens, Jordan Rakei has continued to hone a nuanced form of alternative R&B with soul roots and increasing vulnerability. Now, the Grammy Award-nominated multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, producer and songwriter Jordan Rakei embarks on a sweeping journey that explores the confines of his inner psyche, exploring themes of emotional evolution, personal growth and family with unwavering sincerity.  

The Loop, Rakei's fifth album, is a new chapter in his career that coincides with a series of profound changes in his personal life. This is an extraordinary album, especially for its enormous ambition. Alongside his typically bold production style, we find  orchestral arrangements and haunting choruses, hypnotic rhythms, and an Odyssey-style narrative that charts a course through times of darkness and hope.
