British band Jethro Tull joins the line-up of the Cambrils International Music Festival with an exclusive concert in their Curiosity Tour 1968-2026, a look back at almost sixty years of career and their recent album Curious Ruminant (2025).
The concert will feature pieces from the new album and classics such as "Thick as a Brick," "Aqualung" and "Locomotive Breath." The current line-up includes Ian Anderson, Jack Clark, Scott Hammond, John O'Hara and David Goodier.
Jethro Tull debuted under this name in 1968 at the famous Marquee Club in London, quickly gaining a wide following and triumphing especially at the Sunbury Jazz and Blues Festival that same summer. Their first album, This Was, featured the original lineup of Anderson, Cornick, Bunker and Abrahams. Since then, around 30 musicians have passed through the band, but the name and essence of Jethro Tull have endured, with Ian Anderson routinely fronting around a hundred concerts a year around the world.
A concert in the 2026 edition of the Cambrils International Music Festival.
