This is a beautiful and exciting project born out of a love of flamenco. It is the story of passion and friendship that flamenco singer Israel Fernández forged with Madrid-based guitarist Antonio El Relojero, whom he met by chance at a flamenco competition in which they both ended up winning first prize. From then on, Fernández fell in love with El Relojero's playing and boundless passion, whose musical universe converges with that of the singer. Together they navigate through the voices of Chacón, Pastora, Mojama, Carbonerillo, Cojo Luque, Corruco, La Pompi, and Isabelita de Jerez, among many others, and the guitars of Niño Ricardo, Montoya, Miguel Borrull, and Manolo de Badajoz. For years, Israel Fernández eagerly pursued this project, but Antonio was never able to accept the proposal because he was not a professional flamenco artist and, moreover, was in the care of his mother. Finally, reunited in 2023, they embarked on this journey to connect with the deepest flamenco fans: those of the flamenco clubs, all for the love of flamenco.
