Antiga Fàbrica Damm Carrer del Rosselló 515, 08025 Barcelona

After the success of the 2016 edition of the Festival of Industrial Startups, the IQS Tech Fest is back. It will unite over 50 industrial startups from a range of sectors, such as advanced industrial techniques, automation and robotics, life sciences, new materials, food and sport and more, alongside talks, workshops, exhibitions and a closing party. The festival aims to provide a platform for investors, entrepreneurs, corporations, public and private institutions and others to connect and establish new collaborations. The 2018 edition further aims to leverage its position as a reference event for industrial startups, obtaining insight and analysis on current trends from experts across different fields, providing visibility to and growing industrial startups, and promoting innovative solutions to contemporary societal issues.
The keynote speakers attending the event include Albert Llovera, who discusses his professional career and overcoming challenges to become the only paraplegic pilot to compete in the World Rally Championship and Dakar Rally; Lynette Kuscma, co-founder of Natural Machines, who will shed light on the first 3D printer capable of printing and cooking all kinds of food; and Neil Harbisson, who aims to transform our understanding of the relationship between technology and humanity by drawing on the revolutionary technology that helped him hear colours after being born with achromatopsia.
