Each year the Filmoteca de Catalunya organizes the film cycle Per Amor a les Arts, which looks at the relationship between cinema and other artistic disciplines, such as theater.
For the second year running, the Fundació Joan Miró will be participating in the series, featuring films related to its programming. Led by the Filmoteca de Catalunya and MNAC, and with the support of other cultural institutions in Barcelona, the series aims to establish a dialogue between film and other art forms.
The film to be screened is Insignificance, by Nicolas Roeg (1985), in which four 1950s icons meet in the same hotel room — two of them discover more in common between them than they ever anticipated. In English with Spanish subtitles.
