Sarah, a young employee at a film festival, and her boyfriend Abhi, an art student dreaming of his first solo exhibition, leave their native Kerala to move to the cold and imposing city of Delhi. Although their life together in a modest apartment is initially filled with affection, the hostility of their urban surroundings soon begins to surface. As they deal with a controlling landlord obsessed with utility bills, pressure from Sarah’s family puts a strain on their relationship, as they demand her financial help to cover her younger brother’s education. The fragile balance of their relationship ultimately begins to crumble when Abhi selfishly uses Sarah’s family funds to finance his own art gallery. With the harsh winter, pollution, and lack of income pushing them to the brink of eviction, they must both confront the painful consequences of precarity and downward social mobility in the city.

Film will be screened in its original version with subtitles in Spanish.
