Hidrogenesse is an electronic art rock duet formed in 1996 by singer Carlos Ballesteros and keyboard player Genís Segarra. In their latest numbers they have introduced new influences and sounds, such as the mambo, danzón, chachacha and folk songs, to their already highly characteristic brand of electronic pop music.
Up on our terrace these two performers, who draw inspiration from The Smiths, Morrisey, Saint Etienne and the Pet Shop Boys, will recreate their own special universe of sound.
Liceu Vermuth
When the warm weather comes, the Gran Teatre del Liceu will open up a new and unique open-air space: its rooftop terrace.
But only for these live music sessions when distinguished artistes from our own country will perform their works for us and devote the last part of their recitals to a series of improvisations focusing on opera.
A chance to sip a glass of vermouth while enjoying the most popular operatic arias and themes in the distinctive interpretations of these great musicians.
