Guided Tours of Casa Bloc
Casa Bloc Passeig de Torras i Bages 101, 08030 Barcelona

The city's design museum, Museu del Disseny de Barcelona, hosts guided tours of one of Catalunya's protected heritages, Casa Bloc.
The Casa Bloc project began during the Second Spanish Republic in Barcelona, designed by a group of architects to encourage co-existence and living as a community. Halted by the Spanish Civil War, the project remained silent until the Museu del Disseny restored one of the apartments. The restoration was an intense and exciting project, seeking to materialise the desires and designs of the original architects.
The guided tour invites visitors to step into the Apartment 1/11 of Casa Bloc, and gain a real perspective of how innovative the project was in respect to the architecture and society of its time.
Tours last approximately one hour and a half, and take place every Saturday morning (excluding the month of August and first Saturday of September).
Group price (up to 15 people) €60. Individual tickets are priced at €4.
