Recognized by Rolling Stone for her introspective songwriting and versatile musicianship, 21-year-old singer-songwriter Hannah Bahng is making a name for herself in music. Growing up in Sydney, Australia, her journey began when her mother encouraged her to take piano lessons as a child, sparking a lifelong passion for music. In 2021, Hannah built a large following on YouTube, where she shared vlogs and song covers, beginning to explore the artist she wanted to become. Her first project, The Abysmal EP, released in May 2024 through her own record label Bahng Entertainment, reflects her authentic and varied style. Written, composed and co-produced with long-time collaborator Andrew Luce, the EP has already amassed over 30 million streams on Spotify. Combining pulsating beats, piano melodies and dynamic songwriting, Hannah channels her emotions into each song, unapologetically expressing herself in a way that challenges and redefines pop music. Her new single, "What Never Lived," continues her quest to redefine the boundaries of the genre and bring her distinctive creative vision to the forefront.
