This year marks 10 years since the release of Halsey’s iconic debut album, Badlands. Released in 2015, the album marked a key moment for alternative pop, blending industrial beats, confessional lyrics and powerful melodies that connected with a new generation of fans. That’s why it remains a relevant work today for its themes of dissociation, rebellion and emotional turbulence, with more than 7.5 billion streams. Now, Halsey—Grammy nominee and acclaimed for her genre-blending style—has amassed over 50 billion global streams, four RIAA-certified albums and five albums released, including the recent The Great Impersonator, and is ready to begin a new chapter by working on new music, while continuing to deliver major hits such as “Colors,” “Without Me” and “Bad At Love.”
