A comprehensive chronicle of the Free Party movement, which organized free open-air raves across England from the late 80s to the mid-90s. The “tribal union” of travelers, punks, hippies, and anarchists challenged both the police and land ownership laws to the extent that the government introduced specific legislation against this nomadic lifestyle. The former ravers from collectives such as DiY, Spiral Tribe, Sugarlump, Bedlam, or Circus Warp still light up with enthusiasm when recounting the epic parties and guerrilla tactics of that youthful, anti-capitalist mobilization from the pre-internet era.

DJ Set: ronni

ronni is an artist whose sonic sensibility and contemporary vision resonates with the new currents of global bass music.

With a carefully curated selection that ranges from UK garage and electro to the most avant-garde textures of the bass scene, and heavily inspired by her roots growing up around the UK underground rave scene, ronni transforms the dance floor into a space for encounter, exploration, and shared culture.

Cineclub 113

Sala Apolo and In-Edit present Cineclub 113. Every Monday in July and August, La (3) turns into an open-air cinema.

Nine music documentaries spanning Latin music and club culture. A selection of the best to have come through the In-Edit Barcelona Festival in its recent editions. Each screening comes with a DJ set inspired by the film. At last, a reason to look forward to the start of the week. DJ set starts at 19:30, film screening at 21:30.

• July 13th: La Danza de los Mirlos directed by Álvaro Luque (Peru, 2022) with a DJ set with Vitu Valera.
• July 20th: La Salsa Vive directed by Juan Carvajal (Colombia, 2025) with a DJ set with Chica Acosta.
• July 27th: En la Caliente - Tales of A Reggaeton Warrior directed by Fabien Pisani (Cuba, 2024) with a DJ set with Bichigyalli.
• August 3rd: Esto es Raptor House directed by Roberto López Buschbeck (Spain, 2025) with a DJ set with Phran.
• August 10th: Gabbers! directed by Wim van der Aar (Netherlands, 2013) with a DJ set with VTRX KDDO.
• August 17th: Free Party: A Folk History directed by Aaron Trinder (UK, 2023) with a DJ set with ronni.
• August 24th: Italo Disco: The Sparkling Sound of the 80s directed by Alessandro Melazzini (Italy, Germany, 2021) with a DJ set with Zonzo.
• August 31st: MaQKina: Historia de una Subcultura directed by Óscar Sueiro and Àlex Salgado (Spain, 2023) with a DJ set with Ricardo F.
