"Forrest Gump," directed by Robert Zemeckis (USA, 1994).
Sitting on a bench in Savannah, Georgia, as he waits for his overdue bus, Forrest Gump tells passing strangers about the story of his life, including key events in U.S. history over several decades. Throughout his account, though, he constantly mentions Jenny, the childhood love of his life. Film will be screened in English with Spanish subtitles.
The evening opens at 20:45 with live music from Rocio Faks Band. With her delicate voice and interpretative warmth, Rocio Faks presents a repertoire that navigates between folk, jazz, rock, bossa nova and her own compositions. All this combines to make her live show a nuanced and truly memorable experience.
A film in the 2025 edition of Sala Montjuïc. Doors open at 20:15, music begins at 20:45 and screenings begin at 22:00.
