Performances for Flashdance — El Musical, produced by Selladoor Worldwide, begin on March 1, 2019 at Teatre Tívoli, with the official premiere on March 6. The musical, which comes to Spain for the first time, is based on the classic 80s film that earned numerous awards, including the Oscar, BAFTA, Golden Globes and Grammy and featured the cult hit songs "What a Feeling," "Maniac" and "I Love Rock & Roll."
Flashdance is the first production by Selladoor Worldwide in Spain. The production company is reponsible for successful musicals such as Jersey Boys, Footloose The Musical, The Producers, Avenue Q, Little Shop of Horrors, Monty Python’s Spamalot,Fame, Madagascar, The Wizard of Oz, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Of Mice and Men and Flashdance The Musical. In addition, Selladoor recently financed the new production of Moulin Rouge The Musical and in 2019 they will premiere various original musicals, such as como Roxette El Musical.
