Catalan singer Laura Santos has spent over a decade leaving her mark on stage with a voice that defies boundaries: flamenco, electronics and pure emotion. Her career includes collaborations with El Petitet, Chicuelo, Ladilla Rusa, and Joan Colomo, as well as performances around the world. Her solo project has shaped a unique, intense, and contemporary artistic vision.
Barcelona native Edgar Platón immersed himself in the world of flamenco at the Taller de Músics in 2010, soon shaping a personal style that bridges tradition and modernity. From France to Tunisia, his musical sensitivity has led him to share the stage with renowned artists and to create Flamenco de Cerca, an intimate project that offers audiences a direct, unfiltered experience. He works closely with artists such as Pere Martínez and Laura Santos, weaving a repertoire that honors flamenco’s roots while exploring new sonic paths. As both performer and educator, Edgar guides flamenco toward contemporary horizons without losing its essence.
Together they offer a raw and intimate recital, where flamenco passion is experienced without embellishment. An up-close encounter between voice and strings, between past and present.
