The Santa Llúcia Fair has been held along Avinguda de la Catedral since 1786. It is the city’s oldest and most popular Christmas fair, offering variety of traditional crafts, decorations and gift items.
This year from November 26th to December 23rd, there will be almost 300 stalls, filling the Pla de la Seu square and the Avinguda de la Catedral. However, the fair will be laid out slightly differently than usual in order to keep everyone safe during the holiday season. With a perimeter and two well sign-posted entrances and exits, the logistics of the fair will encourage capacity control, masks, gel and social distancing, while still allowing attendees to enjoy the smells of the forest, the nativity scenes and everything else that transports us to the nostalgia of Christmas time.
The two entrances to the fair are will be clearly marked, with one in Plaça Nova descending from the Portal de l'Àngel, and the other at Carrer Tapineria, next to the Hotel Colon.
