The Wind (1928) is one of the last great films of the silent era. Lillian Gish stars as an emotionally fragile young woman, who travels from Virginia to Arizona to join up with family, but finds the endless sand and wind of the desert a challenge to her mental health. An incredibly creative visual experience, The Wind is an ideal film to add different interpretations to through sound. Held as part of BACHcelona, the screening will be accompanied by live music from DJ Sebastian. The musician will score the film using Bach's expressive language and modern-day electronic resources to enhance the screening.
